I have received the grace I had asked St. Joseph Moscati for my granddaughter Manuela, 23 years old. However, more than a grace it has been a miracle to me, as it was said by the Doctor of the intensive care room at I policlinico of Naples.
Manuela was suffering from an unknown viral infection in the lungs, so she had great difficulties to breathe. One day, the Holy Doctor, appearing in her dream, drew his hand near her lungs and since that moment my granddaughter started breathing regularly, without the machine she had needed until that moment.
That morning was a wonderful day for me and the people, who were around her. We all wept for joy! Then, we all went and thanked Prof. Moscati for that he had done for my granddaughter, giving her life back. (La nonna di Manuela, Napoli)

Dear St. Giuseppe Moscati, I’m coming to you to give you knowledge of Arcangelo, the child from Piano di Sorrento, affected of head cancer. The child was operated and, you know, he has already come home (but you havealready known it!), for his mother and many other people’s joy. I’m happy that everything has gone well, too.
Recently, the child has started the physiotherapy and next month he’s coming back to Turin for a medical examination. Rosaria, child’s mother, asked me to tell you that her heart is full of hope and serenity.
Now I greet you, dear Saint, because you will certainly have so much to do… I just can’t say how happy I am! Well, this is not a request, or maybe yes… tell me what I have to do, so that such feelings always reign in my soul. I’d like to help other people to find their balance and serenity. Love. (Silvana)

I’m little Giovanni Montefusco’s mother and I’d like to tell you his history since the very first months of his conceiving. When I was three months pregnant, I started feeling labour pains. I had a gynaecological visit and I was ordered to lie in bed all pregnancy period, otherwise I would have risked of loosing my child.
Coming back home, I went to my mother-in-law, whose son, Giuseppe Montefusco, had been recovered from a serious illness by St. Joseph Moscati. This miracle, after the examination of the different boards – was approved for the canonization of the then Blessed Joseph Moscati.
My mother-in-law started praying immediately, asking the grace for me. Actually my situation was tragic, because I had to look after my two young children, moreover, the structure of my house didn’t allow me to rest. My bedroom and my living-room are on different floors, linked by a staircase. How could I have looked after my family?
A few days later, my mother-in-law called me and told me a dream where some doctors had to operate a woman. Thinking of the abortion I could have had she had waken up frightened. But later, thinking about her constant prayers to St. Joseph Moscati, her mood changed into trust and she tried to transmit me that feeling.
In fact, I felt encouraged. Trusting in St. Joseph Moscati, I brought forward my pregnancy with very little pain and without that forced rest that doctors had ordered to me. The child was born happily, he is fine and very healthy. He is our joy. For this reason, every day I thank the Holy Doctor, who intervened in our favour again. Our daughter, Claudia Casullo, aged 13, since a long time had the symptoms of a terrible illness: a bone cancer. It is easy to imagine our anguish, because there weren’t many hopes for an efficacious therapy. Relatives and friends joined up with the prayers, we were turning incessantly to St. Joseph Moscati for Claudia’s recovery, especially during the church services that take place on the third Wednesday of each month in Gesù Nuovo Church. In the meantime, the therapy didn’t stop and tests, including CAT, were repeated.
What a joy when we knew that the last medical examination results were negative! The disease had disappeared, including the leg slipping of 7 cm. St. Joseph Moscati has shown himself to be our benefactor, patron and doctor in charge: gratitude will be always lit on in our souls for what he did in favour of Claudia, with the promise of spreading the devotion to him. I’m Samit’s mother, who was born in Sri Lanka and has been living in Italy for four years. On 12th November 1997, I received the grace of becoming mother, but a dark cloudy has dimmed my happiness: my child was born with a heart malformation requiring an urgent operation.
My husband and I are great votaries of St. Joseph Moscati, to whom intercession we committed our little Samit. The operation was so difficult that the doctors didn’t give us a hope of success. However, we were trusting in our Lord, so we increased our prayers to the Holy Doctor and everything was successful!
One night, I dreamt of St. Joseph Moscati. He encouraged me and showed Our Lady of Pompei, urging to rely upon her. The doctors were very astonished when, in occasion of the check-up, they found Samit in a good state of health. They stated that they were facing an “extraordinary event”. Due to a motorbike accident, I was sent to "Nuovo Pellegrini" hospital of Napoli in a coma. For five days my state of health was really desperate: the coma was persisting and the doctors didn’t give a hope of recovering.
An aunt of mine, Anna, who is a great votary to St. Joseph Moscati, didn’t stop committing me to him, having no doubts about his powerful patronage. Actually, on the sixth day, I got over the coma state and the doctors were astonished at seeing that.
Now, thank God, I’m fully restored to health and, standing at the Holy Doctor’s grave, I express my gratitude feelings, being sure that he will always help me, even in the future. (Domenico Paduano, Napoli)

I’m Nicolò Napoli and I live in Turin. Thank you very much for your reply to my e-mail, where I asked you to send me your magazine. I’ve gone to Naples and I’ve visited the wonderful Gesù Nuovo church. I’ve known St. Joseph Moscati thanks to a person, who is a votary of the Holy Doctor. When I was sent to hospital because of an angina pectoris attack (a coronary artery was completely blocked), he prayed St. Joseph Moscati without my knowing it, so that I would not be operated.
Well, at night, while I was in intensive care and in serious danger of loosing my life, I dreamt of St. Joseph Moscati. The following morning, I told it this person, who receives your magazine. “This is a sign – he answered – that you have received a grace”, and it was true. Actually, I didn’t undergo an operation. I take some medicines, but I lead a normal life. My doctor, Dr. Cuminetti, is amazed at the very good results of the tests and since then - thank God - I am still fine. Even though I’m still suffering from “unstable angina”, my blood runs on another way, so it is well compensated. I’m going to come back to Naples to bring my ex-voto, that’s why I’d like to receive the magazine.
Furthermore, I received the reply to my e-mail, on Sunday May 2nd, day of Padre Pio’s Beatification. My son Maurizio is a Capuchin Father and lives in Genoa in the friary of Quarto. This has increased my emotion, even for the joy of having a son who is Padre Pio’s brother. Thank you again and my regards. (Nicolò Napoli, Torino)

I got pregnant just after my wedding that took place about two years ago. The early months the pregnancy went on well, but suddenly I was affected by a serious form of gestosis with high blood pressure, too. Unfortunately, the child’s little heart couldn’t take the strain.
In those moments I couldn’t understand anything. I was beside myself. Mrs Marisa Micali came to my help, making her group of prayer, entitled to St. Joseph Moscati, pray for me. As well as praying, she suggested going on a private pilgrimage to St. Joseph Moscati’s, at Gesù Nuovo Church of Naples.
Since then, day after day, I started feeling better and better. I felt guided by a superhuman entity. And now I can say that it was just the Holy Doctor’s help, since I’m expecting a baby with joy again. I thank St. Joseph Moscati very much, stating that he has put into action his hands as good and outstanding Doctor once more! (Paola Cariddi, Reggio Calabria)

I was expecting my first daughter: everything had gone quite well, but during the last 15 days the situation got complicated. Actually the birth seemed to be difficult, since the baby had her head bended on the right side with the umbilical cord around her neck.
Since the beginning of the pregnancy I have put myself under St. Joseph Moscati’s patronage, and he assisted and gave me comfort in the most difficult moment. Even though the birth was difficult, everything went in the best way. My little Marianna was born healthy and full of life.

While I was two months pregnant, I was going to loose my son Mario because of a road accident. Day by day my health troubles got worse and worse and I had nearly lost any hope of bringing the time of pregnancy to an end.
So my mother turned to St. Joseph Moscati, asking him to help me, so that the child could be born healthy. Her prayers were answered. Therefore, I’m coming to “Gesù Nuovo” church full of joy to thank the Holy Doctor. I start crying if I think that now I’m happy with my child. I’d like to thank Prof.Amodio sincerely for having helped my patient Antonietta to lay my flowers tribute at St. Joseph Moscati’s foot. Furthermore, I asked my brother, who was passing to Naples, to pray on the Holy Doctor’s grave, in order to thank him in my name for the patronage I was granted during the delicate operation I have undergone recently.
I’m relying upon St. Joseph Moscati’s efficacious intercession again for the second operation I’ll have to undergo. The medical personnel of "Centro Cuore Morgagni" in Pedara (Catania) celebrates a grandmother of more than a hundred years. At this Centre, specialized in heart therapy and surgery, the Chapel has been dedicated to St. Jospeh Moscati, as communicated by the Chaplain, Fr.Giuseppe Dolcimascolo.

A long time ago, my husband Karl had to undergo a delicate heart operation. We turned to St. Joseph Moscati with confidence, encouraged by our jesuit cousin Fr.Parrella, too. The operation result was positive. However, some years later it was thought that the coronary arteries were blocked again, as the thallic test had highlighted.
Therefore, my husband and I started praying the Holy Doctor fervently again. Our cousin Domenico, we had properly informed, joined up with our prayers willingly once more. In fact the Angiogramme we made later, showed that the coronaries were open.
This was really a special grace that renewed in us the most fervent gratitude to St.Joseph Moscati. At the same time, it reminded us the visit we did several years ago, when we went to the Saint’s grave, in the “Gesù Nuovo” Church of Naples, from the United States. I’d like to thank St. Joseph Moscati for his special patronage publicly. On 7th January 1993 I went to Naples, in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, for another ecographic kidney test to try to understand, after two years of sufferings, what was wrong with my kidneys. Because of a reservation mistake, the specialist wasn’t in the Diagnostic centre. So I joined my husband, who hadn’t been able to come with me because of the lack of a car park. We both were very sad because we had married for just eight months and my health got worse and worse, but nobody was able to identify my disease!
I saw the entrance of "Gesù Nuovo" and I remembered that the Holy Doctor Joseph Moscati was worshipped there. I entered and concentrated in prayer. Then, I felt the necessity of writing my feelings and it was as if I was talking to the Saint, confiding him my anguish.
Since that day things has changed. At last the right diagnosis was found: vescical urethral reflux of third degree. On 28th May a good doctor operated me. When I woke up, I saw my mother, my husband Nino and other relatives at my bedside. Suddenly, a doctor came in and I smelt a sweet scent of roses. He felt my pulse, looked into the drain bags and told me: “everything’s ok, see you later.” I returned his smile, thanked him and fell asleep.
On waking up I asked my mum and Nino what the doctor had told them, but they answered me astonished that the Doctor hadn’t passed yet. So I told my mother what I had seen and she, who is a great believer, understood at once that I had seen St.Joseph Moscati and she was moved to tears. When, at last, I understood it too, I felt very happy, both for my recovery and because I realized that the day at Gesù Nuovo the Holy Doctor was there and he was listening and giving comfort to me. Thank you, St. Joseph Moscati! I commit all my family to you, in particular my two angels Fedele and Gianfranco. Prevent any illness of the soul in them.
